Enabling CurdBee Alerts
CurdBee offers three different alert services. Email Alerts come built in, and SMS Alerts and iPhone/iPad Alerts have to be enabled via CurdBee add-ons. CurdBee Alerts will send you notifications both when an invoice is viewed or paid, and when an estimate is viewed or accepted.
Here's how to use each of these services.
Email Alerts
Every CurdBee account comes with Email Alerts turned on by default. To disable this feature, head to Settings > System Preferences:

Untick the Enable check box next to Email Alerts on this page to disable Email Alerts.

SMS Alerts
SMS Alerts are enabled via a third party add-on. Click the Upgrade link on top right hand corner of your CurdBee account. In the Upgrade page, enable the SMS Alerts add-on by clicking on the Enable button next to it. Click Save & Checkout to continue to make the payment for the add-on. This module costs $2/month for unlimited notifications.
Now, click the
icon found in the SMS Alerts add-on row.

A popup box similar to the one seen above will appear. Enter your mobile number and click Save Changes.
That's it! You're good to go. Expect a test SMS from us shortly.
Push Notifications for iPhone/iPad/Desktop via Boxcar
If you don't have a Boxcar account, please sign up for one and download the iPhone, iPad or Desktop application.
Push Notifications too are enabled via a third party add-on. Click the Upgrade link on top right hand corner of your CurdBee account. In the Upgrade page, click the Enable button next to SMS Alerts to enable that add-on. Click Save & Checkout to continue. Since this is a free add-on, it will be enabled immediately.
Click the
icon next to the Push Notifications add-on.

You will see a popup box like this. Enter the email address of your Boxcar account and hit Save Changes.
You're all done. Fire up your iPhone, iPad or Desktop Boxcar application and begin receiving push notifications right away. Of course, don't forget to accept the subscription request CurdBee sends to you Boxcar account!
