Creating Multiple Reports

By Adam on Jul 22, 2012 @ 12:27 PM

Is it possible to create pdf reports from a filtered list of invoices? It would enable you to produce a huge variety of different reports from the same basic functionality i.e. the list of invoices that you can filter for date/category/status/client etc.

Additional reports to show a list of the clients, list of products/services etc would also be useful.

Hi Adam,

Currently this is not possible.

However, we have plans to introduce a separate reporting add-on which should allow you to create custom reports as you have mentioned.

Hey there,

any update on this? I would love to be able to create and download pdf reports with all invoices sent in a particular period of time.
That would enable me to do my taxes with just curdbee and expensify and 0% stress

I was thinking the same thing, it's tax time and I can't friggin print a report for my 2012 revenues. However, I remembered I can export my Invoice data (from the Invoices page, a little link under the Create New Invoice button) and exported everything to a .CSV file. I opened this up in a spreadsheet program and with a bit of manipulation and field formatting, I was able to total everything up. :)
Everything except line item detail is included, so with your spreadsheet you could filter and sort by date/category/status/client etc.

It sure would be nice though if such a simple much needed report could be generated automatically.

You can also export your Clients and Items lists to .CSV file.

Darcy

@ Darcy,

Thanks for your thoughts and I am sure the new reporting features will come handy when we release the next edition of CurdBee.
